Our seat fittings cater to all motorsport categories and can be performed at your chosen location, whether it’s a workshop or trackside. We take care of everything, including trimming and covering, in a single visit to provide a seamless experience. You’ll receive knowledgable advice to ensure an ideal fit, with a strong focus on comfort, protection, and compliance with homologation standardsWe provide various fitting configurations tailored to your specific needs.BASE INSERT: This insert is placed inside the shell of the factory or manufacturers provided seat. We will remove the original padding and replace it with your custom molded base insert. This base typically accommodates the largest driver or serves as the primary seat for a single driver. The base generally remains fixed within the shell and is not removed.INSERT: The insert is positioned on top of the base for additional drivers. It is usually intended for smaller drivers who need extra support to fill in gaps.PAD: This is a smaller version of the insert, designed for specific areas on top of the base, such as the lumbar region, or anywhere additional support is needed for the driver.
BEADED SEAT BENEFITS
The goal of a custom seat insert is to maximize contact between your body and the factory seat by reducing gaps and providing optimal support under G-force loads. This improves comfort, reduces fatigue, and enhances sensitivity through your seat for better car feedback, resulting in superior on-track physical performance and response. Our Pro-Seat system utilizes a unique energy-absorbing material with colloid technology© ™. MIRA-tested and approved, this impact-resistant material consists of thousands of small soft beads enclosed in a vacuum-assisted bag. This technique allows you to shape the seat by forming yourself into the bag, which is then held in place by a low-powered vacuum pump while it sets. This approach provides the best opportunity for precise positioning and adjustment during fitting, allowing you to easily add or remove support by manipulating the beads to ensure you remain in the optimal position.
THE FINISHED PRODUCT
Our goal is to deliver a fully finished product in just one visit, eliminating the need to ship the seat to us for later completion. Whenever possible, we'll give the driver the opportunity to test the seat during a session and offer support for any minor adjustments. We'll then finalize the seat on-site by covering it with FIA standard flame-retardant material.A single seat base can typically be fitted, trimmed, and covered within 6-8 hours.Additional details, such as embroidery of the driver's name, can be arranged ahead of the appointment.
